Devious Machines’ popular envelope-shaping tool has just been kitted out with an improved envelope editor, a new multiband section, additional presets and a whole host of other enhancements. 

Building on the success of its predecessor, Percussive Layers 2 features 748 one-shot samples and 316 presets that comprise transients, snare layers, weighty subs, foley, crackles, reversed effects, noise, left-field sound design elements and much more.

The latest expansion pack for Infiltrator 2 caters to a whole host of musical genres including drum and bass, techno, house and trance. 

Bass Focus promises to add weight and power to low-end sounds, and also improve how mixes translate to smaller speaker systems. 

Multiband X6 aims to make multi-band dynamics processing more approachable and enjoyable, whilst still providing the comprehensive feature set and sound quality demanded by serious audio professionals.
