Described as a “vast percussive playground”, the latest expansion pack for Devious Machines’ Texture instrument comes packed with content that’s been designed specifically for drum and percussion layering tasks. Building on the success of its predecessor, Percussive Layers 2 features 748 one-shot samples and 316 presets that comprise transients, snare layers, weighty subs, foley, crackles, reversed effects, noise, left-field sound design elements and much more.
The included sounds have been created using everything from rare analogue and digital hardware rack units to field recordings, and promise to bring depth, dimension and character to users’ productions. The pack takes full advantage of Texture’s drum triggering and replacement features, making it easy to swap out and audition different elements of a beat.

Compatibility
Percussive Layers 2 requires Devious Machines’ Texture 1.7.4 or later, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
