User sample support, MIDI Out & more
10K Audio have recently launched a major update that adds some powerful new functions to their real-time looping instrument. Gyro 1.1 provides users with the ability to load in their own custom samples, adds a new MIDI Output feature, and introduces a Locks function for its Chords and Patterns, turning the instrument into a hybrid creative sampler and real-time MIDI generator.
What’s New?
User Samples (Gyro Pro)
- Load your own samples into Gyro’s sound slots.
- Add and manage a personal User Sample library.
- Use your own one-shots and textures inside Gyro’s layered engine.
- Pitch detection automatically determines the pitch of loaded samples.
MIDI Out
- Route Gyro’s generative melodic MIDI to any plug-in or external instrument in/via your DAW.
- Layer Gyro’s sound with third-party instruments, or use Gyro purely as a MIDI brain.
- Capture results as editable MIDI for production and arrangement.
Patterns & Chords Locks
- Gyro 1.1 adds Subpreset Locking for Patterns and Chords, letting you lock those Subpresets while browsing and changing main presets. Makes it possible to keep a groove or harmonic idea stable while exploring new sounds.
