Acustica Audio have announced the launch of a public beta for Acustica Cloud, a new online service that allows users to upload audio files and have them processed remotely using the company’s Lava microphone modelling technology.
Released in September 2022, Acustica’s Lava plug-in aims to transform recordings using a range of emulations of sought-after microphone models. Users are able to select the microphone used for their recording from a list of 100 ‘source’ models, choose from 41 different ‘destination’ models, and have the plug-in manipulate their track’s frequency response and harmonic content in order to emulate the sound of the chosen microphone.
With the launch of Acustica Cloud public beta, users are being invited to test out a new cloud-based service which allows batches of files to be uploaded and processed remotely, saving people the time and effort of carrying out the task to each individual file. Real-time monitoring allows creators to keep track of the service’s progress, with an email notification informing them when their finished files are ready for download.
The service is being aimed at those working in podcasting, broadcasting and music, as well as those looking to enhance the audio quality of their videos. Details on how to sign up for the beta can be found on the Acustica Audio website.
