Alicia’s Electric Keys by Native Instruments

Includes Keys' custom presets & effects chains

Native Instruments Alicia's Electric Keys piano sample library virtual instrument

Native Instruments have announced a second collaboration with 16-time Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys, this time capturing the sound of her personal Yamaha CP-70 electric grand piano. Recorded at Jungle City Studios alongside Keys’ longtime engineer Ann Mincieli, Alicia’s Electric Keys covers a vast range of tones that blend classic electric pianos with flexible modern soundscapes.

The instrument’s Main view provides a selection of key parameters, with more in-depth control provided on a dedicated Instrument page. There, a Sources section provides independent Main, Hammer, Overtone, Release, Pedal, Resonance and Punch level controls, and is followed by Shape, Tone and Noise sections that allow detailed editing of the instrument’s overall tone and response. As well as recording the piano, the team also captured a number of effects chains, with adjustable preamps, rotary effects, cabinet emulations, dynamics processors, EQs and more all available via an FX page.
