PC support added and Adaptive Limiter now available separately

CEDAR Studio 9 Windows support

CEDAR Audio have announced that CEDAR Studio 9 is now available for PC users, and that the suite's Adaptive Limiter is now available as a separate plug-in. 

CEDAR Studio 9 - Windows support

Having previously only been available for the Mac platform, the latest version of the powerful restoration suite is now available for Windows users, licensed using an iLok. Four packages are available depending on users’ needs:

CEDAR Studio 9 DNS - Aimed at dialogue noise suppression, this package includes DNS One and DNS Two.

CEDAR Studio 9 Restore - An audio restoration package that includes eight advanced algorithms - Declick, Decrackle, Auto Dehiss, Declip 2, Debuzz, Adaptive Limiter, as well as Manual Declick and Dethump.

CEDAR Studio 9 Retouch - The latest version of CEDAR’s spectral editor, which the manufacturer say is now faster to use and able to cure an even wider range of problems.

CEDAR Studio 9 Complete - A total noise suppression and restoration suite that contains all 11 processes from the other packages.

CEDAR Studio 9 for PC is compatible with AAX Native on Pro Tools 11 and above, VST2, VST3, and AU plug-in formats. Retouch is also provided as a standalone application.

CEDAR Studio Adaptive Limiter

CEDAR Adaptive Limiter Also announced today, is the availability of CEDAR Studio Adaptive Limiter as a separate plug-in for both Mac and PC platforms. Previously only available as a part of their Studio packages, CEDAR say the Adaptive Limiter is an extremely flexible maximiser that is capable of pushing audio far further whilst sounding much more natural than conventional limiters and maximisers.

Features on offer include peak and oversampling modes, advanced resampling and noise shaping capabilities, and integrated metering.

Supported formats include AAX Native, AAX AudioSuite, VST2, VST3, and AU. Compatible with Windows 10 and later, as well as macOS 10.10 and above.

The Adaptive Limiter is available now, priced at $420£300.
