Dreamtonics have just introduced four new voice models for their innovative vocal synthesis platform. The latest expansions for Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro, which can be purchased as add-ons from the company’s online store, introduce two new English voices and two Chinese voices, all of which boast a selection of Vocal Mode options and support a range of second languages.
Four New Voices
Here’s a quick overview of the four new voices that have just been added to the collection, along with what Dreamtonics have to say about them.
- Etta (native language: English) exhibits a powerful yet light-lyric or mezzo soprano-like female voice — the perfect vocal choice for a wide variety of genres including pop, soul, R&B, house, EDM and more. She comes with a versatile selection of timbres and vocal modes: Powerful, Close, Delicate and Whispery, and fluently supports Japanese, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish languages.
- Danny (native language: English) exhibits a warm and soulful tenor male voice, an ideal option for modern pop, soul and R&B, as well as a wide variety of electronic music sub-genres and more. Danny comes with a versatile selection of timbres and vocal modes: Powerful, Nasal, Soft and Delicate, and supports Japanese, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish languages.
- Yun Hua is a Chinese Bel Canto mezzo-soprano, designed to deliver an elegant and pure classical singing performance. Yun Hua also comes with five Vocal Modes: Airy, Bright, Chest, Powerful and Resonant. She supports six languages: Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, English, Japanese, Spanish and Korean.
- Lang Chuan is a Chinese Bel Canto baritone, designed to deliver a rich and solid classical singing performance. Lang Chuan comes with five Vocal Modes: Chest, Gentle, Powerful, Resonant and Warm, and supports Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, English, Japanese, Spanish and Korean languages.
Compatibility
Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
