Add a MIDI front-end to GarageBand


easy beat is a music authoring program for the Macintosh. It uses the built-in software synthesizer of QuickTime (Mac OS 9) or CoreAudio (Mac OS X) to play songs. You don't need extra hardware, but it will work also with external MIDI gear.
From version 2.0, easy beat runs natively on Mac OS X with many functions having been re-implemented from scratch to support the new technologies of Mac OS X, like CoreMIDI, CoreAudio, etc.
