The Very Loud Indeed Co. have just introduced their latest Omnipshere sound set, which includes a selection of 120 new cinematic patches for Specrasonics’ flagship software synthesizer. As with all of the company’s releases, the collection is made entirely of new sound sources — no stock Omnisphere sounds are present, and the set shares no common content with any of the company’s other products.
“Mirai is my most ‘synth-ey’ soundset to date, drawing heavily from cyberpunk and retro electronica influences. The main difference when compared to normal synth presets is that it is completely sample- based and doesn't use the oscillator waveforms from Omnisphere. Instead, I created a large number of complex wavetables using many other synthesizers, combined them, and then used the resulting samples to create the sound sources for Mirai. This means that each patch is a true hybrid of several very different synths, which gives this collection a unique tonal richness.” - Richie Nieto, Founder & Sound Designer, The Very Loud Indeed Co.
Compatibility
Omnisphere Mirai runs in Spectrasonics’ Omnisphere 2.8 or later, which is supported on PCs running Windows 7 and above, and Macs running macOS 11 or higher. VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available. The sound set requires 805 MB of disk space.
Pricing & Availability
Omnisphere Mirai is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $21, reduced from its full cost of $35, until 26 February 2026.
