Omnisphere Corvus by The Very Loud Indeed Co.

Aimed at dark drama & action scoring

The Very Loud Indeed Co Omnisphere Corvus

The latest announcement from The Very Loud Indeed Co. sees the company shift their focus back to Spectrasonics’ Omnisphere, and introduces a collection of 126 new sounds that contrast the character of their recently released Cobalt sound set.

As with all of the company’s releases, Omnisphere Corvus has been built from the ground up using new recorded material — none of the sound sources used can be found in any of their other offerings, or the default Omnisphere library.

“Just like with our previous Omnisphere soundset, Cobalt, we designed a large number of sounds using several different synthesizers. Then we recorded them, mangled them with a large number of effect processors and used them as raw sources in Omnisphere. The result is a collection of patches that sound organic but have originated from synths, and this gives them a very unique character. Corvus has a slight retro flavour, with all the bells and whistles of modern synthesis, and it's suitable for scoring tension, dark drama and action scenes.” - Richie Nieto, Founder & Sound Designer, The Very Loud Indeed Co.
