Eventide reveal UltraTap plug-in - Summer NAMM

Delay/reverb algorithm migrates from H9 pedal to DAW

At yesterday’s Summer NAMM show, we got a quick look at Eventide’s UltraTap plug-in, a DAW-based version of the company’s UltraTap algorithm used on their H9 pedal. UltraTap is being called “a unique multi-tap effect that’s capable of rhythmic delays, glitchy reverbs, huge pad-like volume swells, and extraordinary modulation.”

It’s the perfect tool for creating drum fills, vocal choruses, swelling guitar chords, and other evolving effects.

UltraTap will be available for purchase on August 1st at an introductory price of $49. (MSRP $79)

At the Summer NAMM show Eventide are also showing off a digital delay Eurorack unit with an analogue soul: the Euro DDL. The module  features a unique design that strictly limits the amount of digital circuitry to the bare minimum. It is designed to cover everything from short delays for double tracking, to swept delays and tape echo-like effects. It’s available in limited quantities starting in August. (MSRP $473)

Also, Eventide are giving away a limited edition Copper H9 Max pre-loaded with all 49 effect algorithms including PitchFuzz, which combines Fuzz, Pitch and Delay for a huge range of tonal shapes. Customers can sign up at the Eventide booth or through the Eventide website. A limited number of this special edition will be available in August. (MSRP $797)
