Exclusive SOS invitation to Blend's collaborative community

Collaboration & remix platform adds support for Reason

Blend (http://blend.io), an online network where musicians share and collaborate on tracks, has announced support for Propellerhead Reason music production software. Reason users can now share and collaborate on in-progress music projects, tutorials, and sample packs. Along with Reason, Blend also supports Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Maschine and GarageBand.

For those who are unfamiliar with Blend, it’s a collaborative network for music makers. Essentially it’s a place where you can download multitrack sessions for collaboration and remixing, and also post your own work. Thanks to new functionality, you can also make sessions private to yourself, which is useful for backup. You can also collaborate privately or share your session with the whole Blend community, and private messaging is built in for easy communication.

Currently, Blend is an invite-only platform, but its makers have given us an exclusive invitation for SOS readers to get started with it. Just go to http://blend.io/vip/soundonsound to register.

To coincide with support for Reason, veteran music creators Paul Wilson (Lauryn Hill, Erin Barra), Justen Williams (Kourtney Hart), and Chris Freeman (Manchester Orchestra, Bad Books) have joined Blend to celebrate the announcement with exclusive new material for users to pull (download) and re-imagine. Users can browse Reason projects here: https://blend.io/explore/type/reason.
