The control software for Flock Audio’s digitally controlled patchbay systems has just been treated to an update that promises to make setting up analogue routing faster, cleaner and more intuitive than ever.
Version 1.1.6 of Patch App DX focuses on updating the software’s Active Routing Grid, delivering three new features that provide users with greater control, better organisation and a more streamlined experience. First up is drag-and-drop rearranging for Signal Paths, which provide users with the ability to quickly organise their routing layout. A Recall Individual Signal Paths Only function then makes it possible to bring back specific signal paths independently, while a Collapse and Expand Signal Paths option allows users to create more space within the Active Routing Grid, making even the most complex sessions cleaner and easier to manage.
