We Are Robots returns to The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in East London this weekend and plays host to some of the coolest music technology brands going — and even features the UK debut of the Moog One polysynth!
Officially open to the public from 11am to 7pm today through Sunday, We Are Robots is entirely free and features pop-up demos spaces, talks, performances and opportunities to get your hands on the latest gear.
Hardware heavyweights Source Distribution and Red Dog Music have set up shop in the Old Truman Brewery. Expect to get hands-on with a wealth of Moog, Arturia and Modular synthesizers as well as the new and more affordable Expressive É Touché SE. Meanwhile, the Audio Engineering Society will be on hand with a schedule of talks and presentations.
The Teenage Engineering crew are also suited up and showing their long-awaited OP-Z, a stand-alone 16-track sequencer that allows synchronised live composition of music, visuals and lights, while Seaboard makers Roli will be showing their new Beatmaker Kit and more.
There’ll also be the opportunity to experience some amazing live shows brought to you by the legendary Rough Trade, who have curated a fantastic line-up of acts.
