iamReverb Audio release iamReverb lite

A streamlined take on their flagship reverb plug-in

iamReverb lite

iamReverb Audio have announced the release of iamReverb lite, a simplified version of their flagship reverb plug-in iamReverb. The lite edition aims to bring the same proprietary ERM (Enhanced Reverb Modelling) technology to a wider audience by offering the core spatial realism of the full version with a slimmed set of controls.

Like the original iamReverb, iamReverb lite allows precise placement of sounds in virtual space via its three distance controllers - close, mid, and far - but streamlines the interface and feature set. The lite version includes 55 expertly designed presets (compared with 134 in the full edition), 12 refined impulse responses covering essential reverb styles (versus 32 in iamReverb), and essential EQ tools for quick tonal shaping, including high-cut and low-cut filters. Size and Width controls, available in the main view of the full version, are omitted for a simplified workflow, intended to make iamReverb lite a focused and approachable entry point to the company’s ERM technology.

For readers who missed our coverage of the main plug-in, you can read our full review from SOS June 2025 to explore the technology behind iamReverb in detail.

The plug-in runs in VST3, AU, and AAX formats on Windows 10 or higher and macOS 10.13 or higher. iLok License Manager is required, with support for iLok Cloud, machine activation, or iLok USB Dongle (2nd generation or newer).
