Electro-Harmonix have introduced the Pico Swello Attack Envelope, a compact pedal inspired by the popular POG2 Attack slider. This effect is a polyphonic attack filter that applies individual volume swells to every note you play, whether single lines, sustained arpeggios or full chords. This gives players a way to create smooth, violin-like swells or more dramatic effects, with the added flexibility of a low-pass filter section for shaping the tone.
The Pico Swello features a straightforward four-knob layout: VOL controls overall output volume, ATTACK sets the envelope time, from short transient softening to long, evolving swells. The FILTER button engages the onboard low-pass filter, with FREQ and MOD knobs adjusting cutoff and modulation depth/direction respectively. Turning MOD above or below noon delivers upward or downward filter sweeps for envelope-style effects.

The EHX Pico Swello Attack Envelope ships with a standard 9V EHX power supply and will be available mid-September 2025, priced at a US street price of $149.50.
