Sync Audio release MegaMod plug-in

Adds modulation to any plug-in

Sync Audio MegaMod add LFO modulation to any plug-in

Sync Audio’s latest release is a plug-in that’s capable of ‘snapping on’ to other plug-ins and kitting them out with a set of powerful modulation features. MegaMod features a modulation panel that allows LFOs to be assigned to parameters of third-party processors, allowing users to unlock a whole host of new features for their existing software.

MegaMod can be ‘attached’ to another plug-in, and will automatically resize its GUI, creating a unified interface with any processor it’s paired with. It works by acting as a plug-in host for the processor it’s assigned to, and exposes its parameters so they can be controlled by MegaMod’s modulation system. Macro controls, LFOs and envelope-based modulation can then be applied to the hosted plug-in, making it possible to create new and interesting effects that go beyond what’s possible with the original plug-ins.

Take a look at the video below to see MegaMod in action.

At launch, the plug-in includes a powerful set of modulators: LFO, Randomizer, XY Pad, Macro Knob and a Preset Blender, with more set to be added via future updates.

Compatibility

MegaMod is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.11 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.

Availability

MegaMod is available now as a public beta, and is being offered as a free download for a limited time.
