IK Multimedia have announced the release of High-gain Heroes, a bundle of 50 new Premium Tone Models which is being offered for free to users of either TONEX MAX or the recently released TONEX Pedal, bringing the overall collection to a total of 1100 models.
The collection contains high-gain Tone Models of a range of amplifiers from IK Multimedia’s private vault, all of which have been expertly captured by the company using their AI Machine Modeling technology. 25 models of amplifiers paired with a cabinet are included, along with another 25 of the same amplifiers captured without a cabinet, allowing users to pair them with other cabinets either by using the company’s AmpliTube VIR, or by loading their own favourite impulse responses.
A range of classic effects pedals were also used during some of the captures, including a Boss GE-7, Friedman BE-OD, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Horizon Devices Precision Drive, Fortin Grind and a Maxon OD808.

Availability
High-gain Heroes is available now, and is a free download for all TONEX MAX and TONEX Pedal owners. Those who own other versions of TONEX can still download the update and demo any of the new models for up to 30 minutes.
