Sound-design software gains advanced toolset

Krotos have announced the launch of Krotos Studio Pro, a new version of their AI-powered sound-design software. It expands on the capabilities of their existing package, and comes loaded with advanced features and customisation options aimed at high-level post-production projects.

Key Features

The new Pro variant of the software benefits from the following additions:

Edit Mode: Provides further control over the software’s audio engine, allowing users to configure performance controls and design interactive presets for various use cases.
Integration of Personal Sample Libraries: Users can integrate their own personal sample libraries into the Krotos Studio engine for a tailored sound-design experience.
Multiple Sound Modes: Supports sampler, granular and reformer modes with up to 16 engines, allowing for detailed and dynamic sound creation. Users can build their own custom audio engines for versatile sound design and performance.
High-Speed Workflow Customisation: Enables users to drag and drop hundreds of parameters into custom performance templates, significantly speeding up the sound-design process.
Multi-Channel Output: Supports up to 10 stereo outputs, enabling efficient management of complex soundscapes.
Creation and Saving of Custom Presets: Users are able to build and save their own Krotos Studio presets.

Compatibility

Krotos Studio Pro is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and higher. It can function as a standalone application, or be used in all major DAWs as a VST, AU or AAX plug-in.
