Automap App
Called Automap for iPhone, Novation's latest product is fairly self-explanatory to those in the know: Automap is the company's MIDI-based computer-control protocol that gives users of Novation’s MIDI controllers in-depth control over audio software such as Cubase, Logic or Pro Tools.
The fact that it’s available as an iPhone App means that users of the handheld device can control their DAW software, virtual instruments and effects wirelessly from across the room. Owners of Novation SL MkII controllers who have Automap 3 Pro get added benefits, including the ability to use multiple Automap-enabled iPhones simultaneously to control the same application!
Automap for iPhone will be available from the Apple Appstore in the coming months.
