Arturia’s latest release aims to provide those new to the recording world with an all-in-one recording solution. The MiniFuse Recording Pack contains an audio interface, microphone, headphones and cables, and also offers access to Ableton Live Lite along with a selection of plug-in effects and virtual instruments.
The bundle is built around Arturia’s MiniFuse 2, a 2-in/2-out audio and MIDI interface capable of handling microphone, line-level and instrument sources, as well as providing connectivity for MIDI devices on traditional five-pin DIN connectors. A CM1 cardioid microphone complete with a shockmount, pop filter and 3m XLR cable takes care of recording duties, whilst a pair of EF1 closed-back headphones are provided for monitoring.
Also included in the pack is a collection of software that provides newcomers with everything they need to start recording and producing their own music or audio content. Ableton Live Lite offers users the entry-level version of Ableton’s popular DAW software, and Arturia have included some additional plug-in effects from their own range: Rev PLATE-140, Pre 1973, Delay TAPE-201 and Chorus JUN-6. Some guitar amplifier simulation and effects are also available courtesy of Native Instruments’ Guitar Rig 6 LE.
Users also benefit from a selection of virtual instruments, with Arturia’s Analog Lab Lite offering over 500 preset sounds spread across 28 instruments from their acclaimed V-Collection bundle. Finally, three-month subscriptions for Antares’ Auto-Tune Unlimited and the Splice Creator Plan are also included.
