The latest version of Native Instruments’ flagship DJ software has arrived, and comes packed with a whole host of new creative tools. Traktor Pro 4 now includes a stem-separation feature powered by iZotope’s RX technology, loudness processing courtesy of Ozone Maximizer, a new Pattern Player function and more.
The popular four-deck mixing software now offers some powerful built-in remixing tools thanks to an AI stem-separation function derived from iZotope’s powerful RX software. Users are now able to isolate or remove elements such as drums, bass, instruments and vocals directly within Traktor before applying filtering and effects to each individual element. Another tool provided by iZotope is Ozone Maximizer, a processor based on their award-winning mastering software that helps users to increased the loudness of their performances while avoiding distortion.
A new Pattern Player function kits the software out with sounds inspired by iconic drum machines, and comes loaded with an array of kits that include the signature drum sounds of big industry names such as Rebekah, Luke Slater, Len Faki, Chris Liebing, Dubfire and many more. The update also improves the Beatgrids system, making it simpler to follow tempo changes and enabling accurate looping, beat jumps, layering and beat alignment without negatively impacting audio quality.
