Nearfield monitors from PSI

A21M v3 launched at AES

Swiss speaker manufacturers PSI have updated their A21M nearfield monitors, with the promise that these revised models offer a more neutral sound than previous versions. Though the basic premise of a two-way, active loudspeaker remains unchanged, PSI say that the use of a “new-generation” Class-G amplifier reduces distortion and increases efficiency compared with previous revisions of the A21M. Another benefit of the new amplifier is a 20W increase in power and, with that, a higher maximum continuous SPL (108dB at one metre).PSI Audio A21M v3

Owners of v1 and v2 A21M monitors needn’t feel left out, however: older versions can be updated to the new spec by PSI dealers, including their UK distributors, eMerging.
