Novation have announced the availability of a firmware update for Circuit Rhythm, delivering a host of significant new features which the company say make the popular groovebox more intuitive than ever to use.
Version 2.0 of the devices firmware introduces a new Beat Match feature, allowing users to speed up or slow down their samples to ensure they line up perfectly with their sessions. A Fixed Length Recording function assists synchronisation when recording recording samples into a project, with a new toggle available in the Sample Record View offering a choice between eight, 16, 32, or 64-step record times.
Users are also able to take control of Grid FX parameters directly from the Circuit Rhythm, whilst patterns and muted track states can now be saved to Scenes, allowing arrangements to be built more quickly and without needing to use empty patterns in a session.
