Reloop have announced the upcoming launch of the Stand Hub Pro, a new laptop stand that features a built-in USB-C hub. Aimed at producers, DJs and other creative professionals, the device builds on the success of the company’s Stand Hub by introducing a larger integrated hub and a rotating base design that allows for flexible positioning.
The Stand Hub Pro boasts a durable, lightweight design, and features a 360º rotating base that allows for flexible positioning. Both the base and top surface are fitted with a non-slip rubber coating, and the stand is capable of supporting laptops or tablets sized between 8 and 15 inches and up to a maximum weight of 4kg. Once users have adjusted the positioning to their liking, the stand can be locked firmly into place thanks to some recessed mounting screws. For those who are constantly on the move, the Stand Hub Pro can be folded down and transported in a protective carry bag.
Of course, the standout feature is the built-in USB hub. The stand’s central column houses a collection of 10 ports, and supports USB Power Delivery 3.0, meaning that it’s capable of receiving a 100W supply and passing on 85W to a connected device via USB-C. Along with the USB-C host and Power Delivery ports, the hub provides a trio of USB-C ports capable of delivering up to 5Gb/s transfer speeds, a HDMI port that supports a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 (4K) at 30Hz, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet socket, a pair of USB-A 3.0 ports (up to 5Gb/s transfer speeds) and an SD/TF card reader that supports memory card capacities up to 2TB and offers read and write speeds of up to 1048MB/s.
