Roland have launched V‑STAGE keyboards, a line-up comprising two models in the form of the V‑STAGE 88 and V‑STAGE 76. These keyboards feature four independent sound engines, from acoustic and electric pianos to organs and synthesizers.
The Acoustic Piano section is driven by Roland’s renowned V-Piano technology, offering concert grand, upright and felt-treated piano sounds designed to capture every nuance of an acoustic instrument. The Electric Piano engine, powered by SuperNATURAL technology, includes expertly crafted tine, reed, and clavinet sounds, complete with onboard tremolo, amp simulation and a unique Sound Lift feature for cutting through dense mixes.
For organ enthusiasts, the Organ section features Roland’s latest Virtual Tone Wheel engine alongside transistor and pipe organ models, complete with harmonic bar controls, rotary effects, and customizable mic placement. The Synthesizer section, powered by the ZEN-Core engine, offers over 400 onboard tones and access to Roland Cloud’s Model Expansions for legendary sounds like the JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106.
The V-STAGE interface is built for live performance, featuring an ergonomic layout with a sleek color LCD, clearly labeled controls, and real-time sound-shaping tools. A Total Effects section, Master EQ and compression options allow players to refine their sound for any venue, while 512 Scene memories and a Scene Chain function make for easy switching between complex setups.
Connectivity is another key feature of the V-STAGE series. Balanced outputs, an XLR microphone input, stereo line input and USB-C audio/MIDI compatibility ensure seamless integration with a variety of setups, whether on stage or in the studio.
The V-STAGE lineup includes two models:
