Education giant SAE Institute will now be one of this year's sponsors of the Project Studio Expo, held at this month's AES convention in New York, along with Focusrite, Sennheiser and the Gibson Brands.
SAE lecturer Brian Jackson will be a guest panelist at the Friday Q&A session at 4pm. Brian is also the author of Music Producer's Survival Guide, published next month, available from the SOS online shop.
Mike Morrell, New York's Campus Director said: "SAE Institute is excited to continue it's relationship with AES and Sound on Sound for their 2nd Annual Project Studio Expo. There is no better venue to capture all the top industry leaders, best tools, and latest techniques than at Project Studio Expo."
PSE will be held on the 19th and 20th of October and has a wide range of sessions covering topics such as monitoring, recording, synthesizers, mastering, digital distribution and live performance. There will also be panel discussions and Q&A sessions involving various veterans of Sound On Sound and the recording industry at large. These include SOS Editors Paul White and Hugh Robjohns, SOS regulars Mike Senior and Craig Anderton, Larry Crane of Tape Op Magazine, Bill Gibson, Mike Metlay and many more.
