Sound On Sound were at the recent Expo Music event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where it seems the new Brazilian edition of SOS has gone down a storm! The SOS stand featured Q&A sessions with top Brazilian mastering engineer Carlos Freitas, and our very own Paul White. The sessions were held in both English and Portuguese, with the questions and answers being broadcast live via SOS Brazil’s Twitter page, to over 1000 followers.
The Brazilian edition of the magazine was launched in July this year, and features the same content as can be found in the UK and US editions translated into Portuguese, plus some content that’s specific to Brazil. Its arrival was celebrated at Mosh, one of Brazil’s biggest recording studios, and the launch was attended by many of the top names in the Brazilian recording industry.
