Offers solo and ensemble orchestral instrument patches

Sound Magic Neo Orchestra CE hybrid modelled affordable accessible symphony orchestra sample library VST AU

Sound Magic have announced the availability of Neo Orchestra CE, a new hybrid modelling software instrument that aims to make virtual orchestral instruments more accessible and affordable. Designed with cinematic music in mind, the instrument promises to deliver an incredibly realistic sound whilst still being easy to configure and play.

The instrument utilises over 36200 samples and provides the sound of a full symphony orchestra, offering string, woodwind, and brass sections along with a piano. Each of the sections offer a comprehensive range of sounds, with both solo instrument and ensemble patches included. There are modelled legato, tremolo, vibrato, glide, and glissando features included, with most of the included techniques also utilising round robins.

A 3D Spacer within the GUI provides an intuitive way to pan instruments on a virtual stage, and different tuning standards can also be emulated from within a Scala Tuning section. The instrument boasts high-quality built-in reverb and EQ sections, and also allows users to manage the plug-in’s use of their system resources to ensure optimum performance in projects of all sizes.

Neo Orchestra CE is supported on PCs running Windows XP and above, and Macs running macOS 10.16 and higher. VST and AU plug-in versions are available. At least 36GB of disk space is required.

Neo Orchestra CE is available now for an introductory price of $149. After 15 March 2023, the price will increase to $199.
