Chris Lord-Alge puts his name to remake of the NS-10 studio monitor

In the world of studio monitoring, there are few more distinctive designs than the Yamaha NS-10. It's unported design and unflattering, revealing sound made it a mainstay in studios all over the world. The only problem, as we know, is that Yamaha stopped making them. Now Avantone are releasing a brand new version of the iconic "black speaker with the white cone".
We talk to Seth from Avantone Pro about Avantone's latest product, the CLA-10, named for superstar mix engineer Chris Lord-Alge who has not only sworn by NS-10s for years, but was also involved in the production of the new models.
