We check out the new 1176-style rackmount compressor from Black Lion Audio. For only $649, there's a lot going on here. One thing not mentioned in the video above is the fact that the knobs are all detented for exact recall of settings. Also, the original 1176 had the trademark 'all-buttons-in' mode (aka the 'nuke' setting) and Black Lion have not only imitated this but also give users the option to select different combos as well — for 'in-between' settings.
