Summer NAMM 2016: Tascam iXR

If you record on the go, then form factor is really important. Enter Tascam's brand new portable, affordable audio/MIDI interface. The iXR — is being touted as the world's thinnest audio interface with XLR inputs. Specifically aimed at mobile recording, it is compatible with iOS devices, Mac and PC and sports two combination inputs (mic or line), two balanced line outputs, headphone output, MIDI I/O and a rugged aluminium construction. What's more, it is equipped with Apple's 'Made for iPhone/iPad' chips so you can plug your iOS device straight in using the USB charging cable.
