This year’s Sweetwater Gearfest is taking place on Friday and Saturday the 26th and 27th of June, at the retailer’s headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Like previous years, visitors will have the chance to get their hands on the latest gear, attend free seminars and go home with a Sweetwater bargain, but this year, the event organisers say it will be bigger and better than ever.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the impressive Sweetwater facilities, and there will be flea market, where visitors can sell their much-loved but unwanted gear. Also, there will be regular giveaways and a guitar re-stringing service. Entry to Gearfest ’09 is free, but pre-registration is required.
