Auction in aid of music therapy charity
On June the 1st 2004 Technics are auctioning a limited edition, gold-plated SL1200 turntable on-line, with proceeds going to charity.
The SL1200GLD turntable, numbered '004', is based on Technics' latest 12-series model, the SL1210MTG, and features gold plating on the platter rim, tone arm assembly, cartridge and pitch control.
You can sign up to take part in the on-line auction from Friday the 21st of May here. The auction will take place on the 1st and 2nd of June, and the successful bidder will be presented with the turntable at the DMC/Technics UK DJ Championships Final at Shepherds Bush Empire, London on July the 3rd.
Proceeds go to the World DJ Fund in aid of the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy charity.
