EZkeys is Toontrack’s innovative new piano plugin that combines an accurately sampled grand piano with an easy and intuitive interface that aims to make songwriting and compositions a breeze.
An extensive MIDI library performed by a professional session pianist provides a number of inspirational ideas to form the foundations of new song ideas. The eight bar peformances have been played with increasing complexity and cover all major genres such as Rock, Pop, Country, Gospel, Blues and Funk, allowing a simple drag and drog approach depending on your specific requirements.
One of the most significant aspects of EZkeys is its Smart transpose functionality that immediately analyses any MIDI performance data that has been dragged into the DAW timeline and automatically separates all of the chords. Upon clicking any of these chord blocks, the intuitive chord circle comes into play, allowing easy transposition or chord voicing alterations in an instant.
The sampled piano that has been included is the industry standard Steinway model-D grand piano, sampled in a world-class Stockholm studio using the best in vintage and modern recording gear. There are 14 mix-ready presets to manipulate the source sound, using a combination of distortions and spacial effects as well as the modifying the physical characteristics of the piano itself, such as the body, loudness and amount of detune, making the plug-in even more flexible.
The plug-in can be run in both 32 and 64-bit VST, AU and RTAS format, as well as a standalone application and is now available for £115.
