Warm Audio have announced that Centavo, their popular replica of Klon’s iconic Centaur overdrive pedal, is now available in a new silver finish for a limited time.
While Warm’s existing model already offers a faithful recreation of the original circuitry and is styled after the later versions of the famous pedal, the new limited-edition Silver Centavo comes housed in a silver enclosure fitted with dark-red controls that recreate the look of some of the very first vintage units that made it into production. Of course, it features the same carefully selected components as the standard version, with TL077 op-amps and premium diodes helping to deliver everything from clean boosts and edge-of-breakup sounds though to more extreme clipping effects.
