Last year, we launched our first annual SOS Awards, in recognition of those outstanding products that have made all our lives in the studio that much easier and more enjoyable. Well, the time has come to start thinking of who to vote for this year, and we’ve updated the nominations list to reflect the best products released in the last 12 months.
The SOS reader‑voted categories are as follows: Audio Interface, DAW Software, Effects & Processing Hardware, Plug‑in Effects, Plug‑in Processing, Hardware Controller, Keyboard/Synth, Microphone, Mixer, Monitors, Hardware Recorder, Mic Preamp, Software Instrument, Sound Library, Headphones, and Live Sound. In addition to these, there will also be one Editor’s Choice award, to be picked by the SOS editorial team.
