SOS & PM at the London International Music Show
With less than a month to go until the London international Music Show, which is taking place on the 11th-14th June 2009, we've got loads to tell you. So, keep your eyes right here, on the SOS & PM web sites for all the pre-show information.
To kick off our LIMS coverage, here's a brief run-down of what we will be doing at the show:
The SOS Stand
Like last year, the dominating SOS booth (E8) will stand at the entrance to the Sound Recording Technology (SRT) sector of the show. Here, you'll be able to take advantage of exclusive show offers on Sound On Sound and Performing Musician subscriptions, enter the Dream Studio competition, and catch members of the team for a quick chat.
SOS Seminars
We're again holding seminars on a dedicated seminar stage at the back of the Unplugged hall. From in-depth production masterclasses to Producer Panels and Q&A sessions, there should be something for everyone. Keep your eyes out for full listings.
SOS Dream Studio Competition
Worth around £22,000, the prize for this year's Dream Studio competition is simply stunning. The prize-winner will get some of the latest and greatest gear on the market, and will doubtless be the envy of all LIMS visitors. To enter, visit the SOS stand (E8). Click here for the full listings.
The LIMS guide
At LIMS ’09, the show guide will be brought to you by SOS Publications. The glossy, 64-page guide will have stacks of information for show visitors, including floor plans, editorial features, seminar and live stage listings, exclusive show news and a full exhibitor listing, so visitors can find their way around the show easily. It's free to all at LIMS, and it will also be bundled with the June issue of Performing Musician in the Greater London area. What's more, a Digital Edition of the guide will be distributed electronically to close to 250,000 people! Watch out for yours.
