Minnetonka plug-in for Apple software
Surround sound software specialists Minnetonka Audio have released a version of their SurCode DTS audio plug-in — which can encode lossless DTS Master Audio surround sound — for Apple software. Integrating with SurCode allows audio post-production artists to export mixes from Logic Pro 9 in as many as seven channels (6.1 format), and encode them for Blu Ray using a simple plug-in and Final Cut Studio’s Compressor application. The plug-in also lets Quicktime decode DTS HD and Master Audio format files for testing prior to authoring a disc. With the appropriate hardware, software and know-how, SurCode for Apple could bring Blu-ray movie making within the reach of project post-production studios.
