With the introduction of their AI Series, Techivation have steadily released a collection of processors that aim to deliver professional-sounding results while removing technical barriers. The latest addition to the collection, AI-Rack, is a modular channel strip that brings together all of the existing offerings along with a new arrival, and promises to offer an entirely new approach to mixing.
The company say that "AI-Rack is built to streamline complex decisions and eliminate setup friction by suggesting a fully customised plug-in chain based on the source audio. Each module adapts to the signal and works in context with the others, creating a personalised processing flow in seconds.” Five of the processors included are already available individually — AI-Loudener, AI-Clarity, AI-De-Esser, AI-Impactor and AI-Compressor — while the sixth, Tilt EQ is exclusive to the new plug-in. It complements the existing line-up with a spectral EQ processor that offers adaptive controls and benefits from precise linear-phase filtering.

Compatibility
AI-Rack is supported on PCs running Windows 7 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.15 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
Pricing & Availability
AI-Rack is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $299 until 5 August 2025, when it will increase to its full price of $799. The following special prices are available to existing Techivation customers:
- Those who own other premium plug-ins but none from the AI-Series can purchase AI-Rack for $259. For AI-Series users, upgrade pricing is tiered based on the number of owned plug-ins, starting at $229 for those who own one, and running down to $99 for those who own four.
- Users who already own all five AI-Series plug-ins or the Full Access bundle receive AI-Rack at no additional cost.
