The latest library to join Best Service’s ever-growing range includes four solo wind instruments that capture the spirit of traditional music from Armenia, Persia, Turkey and the Middle East.
Developed in collaboration with Eduardo Tarilonte, Desert Winds captures the sound of an Armenian Duduk, Persian Ney, Turkish Ney and Zourna. Featuring over 2000 high-quality samples, the new library boasts up to six true legato articulations per instrument, and promises to deliver a fluid, expressive and inspiring playing experience. Everything is hosted by Best Service’s Engine Player software, which offers in-depth control over the sound of each instrument, as well as including microtuning options that offer support for non-standard and custom scales and tunings.

Compatibility
Desert Winds runs in Best Service’s Engine Player version 1.5 or later, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Mac running macOS 10.15 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.

Desert Winds is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $€79 until 2 April 2026, when it will increase to its full cost of $€119.
