Latvian mic specialists JZ aim to bring their distinctive design and quality sound within reach of the masses. Have they succeeded?
JZ Microphones, the Latvian pro audio manufacturers, are known for their unusual Black Hole mic (http://sosm.ag/dec08-jz-blackhole) as well as affordable high-quality condenser mics like the Vintage 11 (http://sosm.ag/jan12-jz-vintage11). They are now expanding their product range with their first ever channel strip, dubbed the JZ Track, which is made in Germany by SPL.
The other mics in JZ’s Vintage range are based on classic designs of the past — but they hope this one will become a classic in its own right...
