Prolific sample library recordists Spitfire Audio have returned to London's world-famous studio to create Abbey Road One: Wondrous Flutes. The new library features two flutes and a piccolo, a combination apparently much loved by two of Hollywood's most famous composers, John Powell and John Williams.
Abbey Road One: Wondrous Flutes is said to pair perfectly with Spitfire's Orchestral Foundations instrument (which makes sense, given that the latter was also recorded at Abbey Road's Studio One), but can also be used to supplement any other orchestral collection. It's available now in VST2/3, AU and AAX versions, is fully NKS compatible, and carries an enticing price of just £49/$49. Check out Spitfire founder Paul Thomson's walkthrough video below to hear it in action.
