ADAM Audio to launch D3V compact monitors

System includes built-in USB Audio

ADAM Audio D3V compact studio monitoring system built-in USB audio interface

Following on from their recent H200 headphone reveal, ADAM Audio have announced that a new compact monitoring system will soon be joining their ever-expanding loudspeaker range.

Set for release in November and on display at AES New York 2024, the new DV3 system aims to deliver the company’s renowned audio quality in a new, compact form factor. A significant feature is the inclusion of a USB-C port that allows the monitors to behave as an audio device, meaning that users can benefit from high-quality sound without the need for a dedicated audio interface. They still come equipped with balanced line-level inputs for those who’d prefer to use their existing interface, and there’s also a front-facing headphone socket.

The system employs 3.5-inch aluminium low-frequency drivers complemented by dual-sided passive radiators — despite its diminutive size, the D3V’s low-frequency response extends all the way down to 45Hz  — with the company’s 1.5-inch D-ART tweeter delivering the precise high-frequency response that ADAM Audio are known for. DSP-powered acoustics switches allow the sound to be tailored to the user’s room, and the monitors come supplied with desktop stands, or can be mounted on a microphone stand.

Pricing & Availability

The D3V is expected to be shipping by mid-November 2024, priced at $299.99£289.99 including VAT / €329.99. Prices are per pair.
