Seven new active speakers announced

Alto have announced the launch of a new range of powered loudspeakers that promise to combine premium audio performance with unmatched versatility. The TX4 Series comprises seven models, catering to a wide range of uses including live performances, club nights, and permanent installs for venues, restaurants, bars, gyms and more.

The line-up includes five full-range cabinets. The TX408, TX410, TX412 and TX415 offer a choice of eight-, 10-, 12- and 15-inch drivers respectively, and range in power from 350 to 700W; there’s also the TX412B, a 600W cabinet loaded with a 12-inch driver that can run for up to seven hours on a built-in battery. They’re joined by the TX12S and TX18S, a pair of subwoofers that have been designed to deliver precise and powerful low-end reinforcement, and come packed with DSP-based EQ controls and selectable low-pass filters. For smaller gigs, the TX4 Series provides a standalone solution thanks to an onboard two-channel mixer with mic, line-level and Bluetooth connectivity.
