Saturday 6th March 2010 -- SOS will be one of several music technology companies participating in the South-West's premier Music Technology showcase: Analogue To Digital Expo 2010 (part of the Vibraphonic Festival). The event delivers workshops and masterclasses, and takes place across multiple studio rooms at the Exeter Phoenix, home of the organisers, Sound Gallery Studios.
SOUND ON SOUND will be hosting two Q&A panels (12-1pm, 2-3pm), featuring SOS's resident PC specialist Martin Walker with SOS Forum moderators Max Hodges and Andy Rockett, plus guests, providing insightful answers to visitors' questions. Max and Andy will also be running a rolling guitar set-up workshop in the SOS room (10.30am - 4pm).

- Drumscapes - Live sampling/Ableton Live masterclass run by live performance artist Jon Sterckx. Learn how to create tracks using acoustic and vocal percussion played, sampled and processed live.

- Propellerhead REASON & RECORD: an introduction to Reason & Record with Joe Moretti, the UK’s official Propellerhead demonstrator (Apple certified teacher). 3 workshops (12pm, 1pm & 2pm).
- Quested - designer Roger Quested will be there with his S7R, S6R and V3110 monitors.
- SADiE v6 mastering workshop: covers Mastering and Editing, and the DAW workflow of a mastering engineer. Learn how to create a Red Book Standard DDP & other delivery formats.
- Shure & Fender microphone placement workshops, using their latest G-Dec amps, plus rolling Radial DI and Phase Align demos.
- Sontronics - test station with a selection of condenser and ribbon mics.
- TF Pro - exclusive showing of Ted Fletcher's (not yet released) ribbon and mid-side stereo mics.
- Time & Space - Software instruments workshop covering Sample Logic's MORPHESTRA and Spectrasonics TRILIAN bass synth. Using Sample libraries in your Production – workshop covering practical uses of sample collections with Iain McKenzie.
