Best Service The Score by Sonuscore all-in-one library

Packed with writing & arranging tools

Sonuscore The Score

Sonuscore’s latest sample library promises to provide aspiring composers with everything they need to create music of any genre in a single package. Best Service The Score, by Sonuscore comes loaded with samples of 160 instruments, and incorporates some powerful writing and arranging tools that aim to speed up the creative process.

The library contains 120 Stories that offer instant starting points for a huge range of musical genres. Each Story contains a set of keyswitchable arrangements, and offers a vast dynamic range that can be controlled using the mod wheel. There are 10 instrument slots per Story, and the default loaded instruments can be exchanged for any of the library’s other offerings, which cover everything from traditional orchestral instruments to modern electric instruments and synths. All of the instruments included in the library can also be played independently.

An Ensemble Instrument feature makes quick work of creating custom instrument groups, modifying their sounds and developing arrangements, and is complemented by a Lead Instrument which can house a pair of instruments intended for melody duties. There’s assistance for creating the melodies themselves, too: a Melody Studio feature uses a Markov chain-based algorithm to generate new ideas which can be freely edited within the library, or exported as MIDI for more advanced customisation using a DAW track. A Chord Mode is also on offer, which allows users to quickly audition and create new chord progressions.
