Big Fish Audio’s latest sample library is titled Found Percussion, and that’s exactly what they used to create it! Found Percussion contains loops and construction kits made from items such as drinks cans, tools, glass vases, coins and welding rods.
The ‘instruments’ have all played by expert percussionists and compiled by ‘master producers’, and are designed for adding something a little unexpected to a track. Found Percussion’s content is supplied in Apple Loops, REX, WAV and Stylus RMX formats and it can be purchased from Time + Space’s web site for just £55.
Also new from Big Fish Audio is Kontrol Freaks 2: Quality Control, which picks up where the original Kontrol Freaks left off. This second installment features hits, loops and construction kits for creating even more killer hip hop beats and breaks.
Produced by Soul-G, who has worked with the likes of P-Diddy, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and TLC, Big Fish Audio say that Kontrol Freaks 2 would be a “welcome addition to any producer’s or rapper’s collection”. As with Found Percussion, it costs £55 and is available to buy from Time + Space’s web site.
