Latest gifted award announced

MPG Awards 2023 Music Producers Guild Bob Clearmountain Icon Award

The Music Producers Guild (MPG) have announced that they are presenting recording engineer and producer Bob Clearmountain with the Icon Award, a brand new award sponsored by SSL and gifted by the MPG to a person who is seen to be an icon of the recording industry.

Bob is one of the most respected producers and engineers, well known for his work with a huge list of major acts including The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Toto and Bryan Adams. He has been nominated for four Grammy awards, and won a Latin Grammy for his engineering work on Ricky Martin’s ‘MTV Unplugged’.

The third and final gifted award, The MPG Inspiration Award (sponsored by Audio Note) will be announced in the coming weeks, with the winners of the remaining categories announced at an upcoming ceremony, which is being held on 27 April 2023 at The Tower Hotel in London, UK.
