The latest announcement from Dynaudio Acoustics sees the company introduce a new range of power amps that complement their renowned studio monitors. Comprising five new models, the Delta series promises to deliver the same reliability, consistency and performance as their loudspeaker systems.
The new range of amps are built in the UK by MC2, and are available in both DSP and non-DSP versions to support different room-tuning scenarios; the DSP versions offer three dynamic and eight static EQ bands per input channel, along with nine static EQ bands per output. As for power, the amps cover significant ground, with the smallest Delta 20 delivering between 175 and 480 W per channel, and the largest Delta 80 DSP offering up to 4x 2000W at 4Ω, or 2x 5000W bridged. All models feature analogue connectivity along with networked audio via Dante, and can be ‘mixed and matched’, meaning users can add to their existing setup when upgrading their system rather than needing to replace their amps.
